- Description: I went to start the dryer and it came on for about a second and then went dark. I hit the power button a 2nd time and it flashed on briefly and now nothing happens at all when I hit power button. I checked the breaker, I left it unplugged for 5 minutes and tried again. Nothing. The small outlet right next to the big dryer plug works just fine but I don't have a tool to check big dryer outlet. Dryer is just over 3 yrs old.
